Affiliate marketing/Internet marketing has proven to be an extremely popular way of creating an income from home. Many thousands of entrepreneurs and business seekers alike try their hand at this daily.
It’s good to see people trying to build their own future outside of mainstream work isn’t it?
The only trouble with this is people are being drawn into opportunities with false promises and seem to think that affiliate marketing is a simple click button action resulting in earning thousands of £/$ a month. Wouldn’t that be great! However the truth of the matter is so different.
I have worked many of jobs and business’ over the years and found my way here through working my own website design company from home. Over time I started to realise the true money driving power behind the internet and affiliate marketing.
So why is Affiliate marketing booming?
Well basically you are the middle man in a product or service transaction/sale.
your main tool to learn and to implement is advertising. You are purely bringing the product to the consumer or the other way around. If you can find a product in a niche market that’s even better. It’s booming because of it’s simplicity.

However, most people looking at doing this don’t really know what it is all about and so they start to do just what I did which was scan the web for information and obviously the best opportunities out there. Now you can see where the con artists come into this and how people are sold an “easy, free, auto, one click million dollar system”.
The cowboys know how affiliate marketing works and they also know how much it is now in demand.
These guys ruin it for everyone. Including the genuine systems out there which have the ability to change people’s lives around. This also leaves people feeling confused as to what affiliate marketing is all about and they tend to relate it to a scam after being burnt a couple of times.
Just so you are not mislead!
Affiliate Marketing is just another way to make an income. You still need to know your trade, you still need to learn to use your tools and you still need to run it like a business. The only difference here is if you are learning and using your tools correctly you can work an amazing business from home with massive earnings. In fact the earnings are down to you but you can have multiple incomes coming in 24/7. But like I said you will need to learn to earn.
However you will not get this from one of those “one click million dollar systems”. I should know, I have tried all sorts of things based on the sales pages which draw you in.
There is nothing wrong with being drawn into a sales page. This is their job and sole purpose. They are designed to do just what they do.
However just keep an eye out for what it is you are signing up to. Maybe give the company, product or persons name a Google to see what you can find out.
What makes a good Affiliate Marketing Program?
If the owner/developer of the program is well known, genuine and successful.
If the program you are signing up for is the same one used by the owner/developer.
If the program works in a niche market.
If the program is set up to run with multiple income streams simultaneously.
If you can contact the owner/developer.
If training and support is in place.
If there is a community forum.
If the system is kept simple
If you have all of the ingredients above then I believe you have one of the best affiliate marketing programs online.
So Affiliate Marketing does work, it can earn you thousands a week and it is just like running a business from home.
